| In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economic construction, people’s living standards have been continuously improved. In this environment, people are facing increasing pressure from working and living with less happiness. Thus, there is a growing attention to ’happiness index’-related issues.In the rankings of the Top500Global Companies that Fortune Magazine released in2014, SINOPEC and CNPC ranked third and fourth as the world’s second-largest and third-largest petroleum companies. But even in companies like those, the problem of employee turnover is very serious. There are many reasons behind the employee turnover, one key factor is employees’ happiness. Therefore improving petroleum company employees’ happiness index is imminent from the perspective of development.This dissertation focuses on petroleum marketing companies, analyzes the influencing factors of happiness index and the employee characteristics of petroleum marketing companies. According to the influencing factors of happiness index among petroleum marketing company employees and combined with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, this dissertation builds an index system of petroleum marketing company employees’ happiness index on the basis of physiological needs, safety needs, love/belonging needs, esteem needs and self-actualization needs. From the view of practical applications, this dissertation adopts questionnaire and factor analysis into statistic analysis, classifies key factors that influential to petroleum marketing company employees’ happiness index. Besides, calculation model of petroleum marketing company employees’ happiness index was proposed in this dissertation, scores of petroleum marketing company employees’ happiness index can be calculated through this calculation model. What’s more, this dissertation raises solutions and suggestions on improving employees’ happiness index for petroleum marketing company by analyzing marketing company employees’ happiness index of Hubei CNPC. The research results can provide references to administrators of petroleum marketing company in management, in order to improve employees’ happiness index and contribute to corporate sustainable development. |
