A Study On The Impact Of Entrepreneurial Self - Efficacy On Entrepreneurial Performance

With the rapid development of economic globalization, entrepreneurship shows unique vitality and the technology entrepreneurship of commercialization of scientific and technological achievements plays a more decisive role. In recent years,technology entrepreneurship has become one of the leading role to promote economic development.The purpose of this study is to explore dimension structures of technology entrepreneurs’ entrepreneurial self-efficacy and the relationship between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial performance. This paper, based on theory review, puts forward the research assumptions about the five structural dimensions of technology entrepreneurs’ self-efficacy and the relationship between each dimension and entrepreneurial performance. Assume that technology entrepreneurs’ self-efficacy has five structural dimensions, respectively is: technology self-efficacy, opportunity identification self-efficacy, relationship self-efficacy, management self-efficacy and risk tolerance self-efficacy. Assume that technology entrepreneurs’ self-efficacy has an positive influence on entrepreneurial performance and the influence of technology self-efficacy to entrepreneurial performance is most intense.The research mainly adopts the questionaire survey and statistical analysis and puts in questionnaire to the national university science and technology park of KMUST.190 questionnaires were sent to and 176 were collected and 163 of which were valid. Then, using SPSS and AMOS statistical analysis software for survey data to carry on the descriptive statistical analysis, reliability test, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis.The research results show that, the technology entrepreneurs’ entrepreneurial self-efficacy in the national university science and technology park of KMUST showed five dimensions, respectively is:technology self-efficacy, opportunity identification self-efficacy, management self-efficacy and risk tolerance self-efficacy. Opportunity identification self-efficacy, relationship self-efficacy and management self-efficacy have significant effects on entrepreneurial performance, while doesn’t exist linear regression relationship between technology self-efficacy, risk tolerance self-efficacy and entrepreneurial performance. Results of this paper further makes clear the important role of technology entrepreneurs’ self-efficacy to entrepreneurial performance, enriches the research of technology entrepreneurship field, draws upon for analysis of the future improvement path of entrepreneurial performance.
