This research starts from the personality characteristics of entrepreneurs. On one hand discussing the structure emotional intelligence of the entrepreneur in the entrepreneurial scenario, as well as explaining the relationship between entrepreneurs' emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial performance; on the other hand this research introduce entrepreneurial self-efficacy as a mediator to have a deeper exploration of relationship between entrepreneur's emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial performance in the entrepreneurial scenario.The main conclusions are as follows:1. In the entrepreneurial background, the entrepreneur's emotional intelligence includes four factors, which are self-emotion appraisal, other's emotion appraisal, regulation of emotion and use of emotion.2. Entrepreneur's emotional intelligence has a direct impact on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, in which self-emotion appraisal has a direct impact on opportunity recognition self-efficacy, management self-efficacy and risk tolerance self-efficacy, other's emotion appraisal has a direct impact on relationship self-efficacy, regulation of emotion has a direct impact on opportunity recognition self-efficacy, management self-efficacy and risk tolerance self-efficacy, and use of emotion has no impact on entrepreneurial self-efficacy.3. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy partially mediated between Emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial performance, specifically, the opportunity recognition self-efficacy partially mediated between self-emotion appraisal and survival performance; relationship self-efficacy partially mediated between other's emotion appraisal and growth performance; risk tolerance self-efficacy partially mediated between regulation of emotion and survival performance.4. Different age groups of entrepreneurs have significant differences on their self-emotion appraisal; Different entrepreneurial phases'groups of entrepreneurs have significant differences on their opportunity recognition self-efficacy, management efficacy, and risk-tolerance of efficacy; Different educational level of entrepreneurs have significant differences on their management efficacy and growth performance, but different gender of entrepreneurs have no significant different on their emotional intelligence, entrepreneurial efficacy and entrepreneurial performance.
