Research On Management Of Northeast Special Steel Group Based On Six Sigma Theory

The development of iron and steel industry in China in recent years, mainly focus on the adjustment of the total and solve a series of problems with the "quantity" related, including the control of production capacity, eliminate backward, lifting equipment, the joint reorganization and so on, in the final analysis, is basically in the "quantity" as the fundamental purpose for the adjustment and management. Although obtained certain result, but still can not adapt to the market demands for the quality of steel, special steel added value, high quality of high. Therefore, enhancing the quality of the products will be one of the important tasks of the iron and steel industry and the development of iron and steel.Based the research method with six sigma management theory and case study, systematically studied the application of Six Sigma in Dongbei Special Steel group. First of all, The thesis discusses the concept, the characteristics of Six Sigma management method, commonly used index, contents, organization structure, commonly used software, process and application of Six Sigma problem solving; then, to the Dongbei Special Steel Group as an example, introduces the present management like Six Sigma implementation, discusses in detail the application situation of Six Sigma management method in the to improve the rolling mill production line quality control level in the project; finally analyses the existing in the application of Six Sigma in enterprises, and put forward the corresponding solutions.The thesis give the instruct meaning on how to improve the quality Managent level in DSST. On mean while, it can also be used as reference to instruct the other companies to improve their level of management by running the lean Six Sigma management methods.
