In the process of regional tourism development, tourism activity factors interact with each other, finally result in some tourism spatial structure, which shows the characteristics of regional tourism development. A scientific and reasonable tourism spatial structure has benefit for the utilization of tourism resource, optimizing of transportation, and developinng the regional characteristics and advantages, making regional development strategy and achieving sustainable development.Therefore,it is significant to the operating, planning and optimizing of tourism economic activity.Tourism has been a leading industry in Sichuan Province to promote the economic development, which has made outstanding contributions to stimulating consumption,promoting related industries development, creating more jobs,increasing incomes and promoting environmental protection.However, tourism development in Sichuan Province also faces a daunting set of challenges.With growing demand of tourist consumption, competition are increasingly fierce in travel market. Region growing imbalance due to the difference in economic development level, resource and transportation, limited the whole developmentl. Therefore, we must clearly understand the present situation and existing problems of tourism spatial structure in Sichuan Province, search for solutions, harmonize regional development and prompt regional cooperation, promoting the leapfrog development of tourism in Sichuan Province.Therefore,based on related theories, this paper in view of system theory and relationship theory makes a research on the tourism spatial structure of Sichuan province, with the method of mathematical statistics,spatial information technology, network topology analysis, and social network analysis technology.Conclusions of this paper can be summarized as follow:(1) Tourism resources are widely dispersed in Sichuan province, the cluster phenomenon is obvious, unbalance, significantly in Chengdu as the center of upper distribution of tourism attractions in highest density, the tourism resources in western area islisolated and scattered. The tourism resource in Sichuan province shows local corralation, difference between regions is significant.(2) The spatial distribution of the inbound tourism markets concentrate relatively, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions、Japan、Korea、Singapore、Thailand and America are the main tourist market,meanwhile,index G is getting smaller and smaller,which indiacate the structure of inbound tourist markets tends to be stable. As for the domestic tourism market, Sichuan province itself、surrounding province(Chonqing、Shannxi、Yunnan) and coastal provinces play a dominant role, the tourism markets concentrate obviously, and presents the "distance decay" characteristics.(3) The connectivity and accessibility of tourism traffic in Sichuan province is not good.The traffic line is sparse, traffic network structure is vulnerable,besides, the tourist traffic network is a type of radiated "axis-spider" layout,the traffic lines disperse from the core-Chengdu along main lines.Fourthly, the pattern of tourism spatial structure in Sichaun provine evolves into extension model from cohension model and radiation model.(4) In the view of relationship theory, tourism spatial network of Sichuan province is discussed, by social network analysis software-UCINET. Results show that the tourism space network density is low, the network structure development not balanced, formed the core- edge area structure. Core members of the center degree is high, contact closely, competitive advantage obviously, but the outward radiation ability is weak.Through the research of tourism Spatial structure in Sichuan Province, this paper puts forward the construction of new optimization Spatial structure,creating three extension tourism sector in which tourism hub charges tourism destination, and build tourism functional subregion, come up with specific measures to optimize the integration:make overall arrangents about the development of tourist market,make precise marketing management;integrate tourism resources,optimize the system of tourism products; strengthen service infrastructure,perfect tourism service system;reioforce regional coperation, innovate development mechanism.This paper reveals the characteristics of tourism spatial structure elements, and shows how all states keep in touch in touism spatial network, through discussing the elements and relation network of tourism spatial structure respectively, based on system theory and relationship theory.Which not noly benefit for dissecting tourism spatial structure feature, but also enrich research method and perspective on tourism spatial structure.Based on the present tourism spatial structure situation of Sichuan province,according to tourists’ spatial behavior, this paper designs a new type tourism spatial structure of which tourism hub leads tourism destinations, in order to adjust tourism spatial layout strategy,providing reference opinion for integrating and optimizating tourism spatial structure of Sichuan province.
