Effect Research Of Agricultural Insurance In Jiangsu Province

Agriculture, as the primary industry in the world, is the most basic property and provides reliable substance for the stable development of economy. But agriculture demands high condition for nature and market, boasts terrible resistance to the environment. Agriculture Insurance is, especially as the international routine excuting moderate protection, one of the mechanisms to disperse risk of produce and offset economical losses. Agriculture Insurance is the most important component of agricultural security system. China, as an agricultural country, is one of the little countries who suffers most serious and natural disaster losses.This article has analyzed the current situation of agriculture insurance in Jiangsu province, put attention on three policies of agriculture insurance style——“Suzhou Pattern”, “Wuxi Pattern”,“Huaian Pattern”. By applying DEA Data, I analyzed the effectiveness of agricultural produce on 13 cities(including 1 Sub-provincial city,12 Prefecture-level cities).On this basis, then the use of dynamic econometric analysis of the relationship between the efficiency of comprehensive agricultural production of Jiangsu Province and the policy of agricultural insurance, I executed quantitative research. And then, I got the conclusion that the policy of agriculture insurance contributes, to the improvement of effectiveness for the agriculture production, to comprehensive technical efficiency of agricultural production, to some extent. Based on the above-mentioned real evidence, this article makes a suggestion of promoting the sustainable development of agriculture insurance on Jiangsu Province, which includes improve the agricultural insurance-related policies and regulations, establish the specialized agricultural insurance agency, adjust mechanism for subsidies, innovate agricultural insurance products and services prices, strengthen the agricultural insurance performance and management, and so on so forth.
