The Research Of China Small Town Construction

As we all know,Marxism contains a lot of classical theories on urban and rural relations, these theories have been playing an important role in guiding the development of our China’s urbanization.Urban-rural relation namely relationship between cities and villages is a universal phenomenon existed worldwide. Any country will face this problem in the process of modernization. Whether handled it properly or not would affect a country’s economic and social development directly.With the combination between Marx’s theory on urban and rural areas and China’s real conditions, the theory on small town construction is formed through the innovation and exploration of the leaders in the past. The detailed analysis about the Marxist theory on urban rural relationship is of the significance of the research and related theory research. This paper carefully explores the Marxist theory on urban-rural relationship in China development context and content, focusing on the theory on urban-rural opposition, integration of urban and rural areas, agricultural foundation status and integrated urban and rural development theory. Especially the urban and rural integration theory of marxism would play a huge role in promoting the development of small cities and towns construction in China. Then the development process of small towns in China are discussed in detail, and analyzed the small towns types and the status. At present, Chinese small towns developed with different characteristics, there are mainly tourist towns and resource-based towns and other types. According to the characteristics of the various types of small towns, summarized the development of small towns as development is rapid, on a smaller scale, and weak absorption capacity in population. Meanwile, production level difference is obvious and investment development environment competitiveness is not strong. Infrastructure and public services is not perfect. But compared with the ordinary town there is a significant development advantage.This paper also focuses on the problems about the small towns construction comprehensively, and analyzes the construction reasons of small cities and towns in China. Including of the use of marxism theroy of urban and rural relations can not keep up with the times, unbiguous strategic orientation of the development of small towns, the imperfect related system, laws and regulations, government management, lack of scientific and forward-looking.the paper puts forward the countermeasures on the small towns construction, they are six aspects, for example, planning, adjustment of industrial structure, broaden the financing channels, reform, protection of ecological environment and improvement of urban housing and China’s urbanization development plans.The construction of small towns is a multi-faceted, multidisciplinary and extremely complicated system engineering. To solve these problems is extremely important to the development of small cities and towns. This article selected and studied the hot spot ones in many of the small town construction facing problems. From the realistic point of view, this paper strives to provide a reference for the future research in related fields.
