The research of neural immune endocrine network theory has become a hotspot intheory research at home and abroad. In recent years,The hormone and immune factor and itsreceptors in the expression of the nervous system greatly enriched the theory research. In thecentral nervous system, most studies reported hormone and immune factor has a largedistribution, hormone and immune factors may as a neurotransmitter or autocrine andparacrine play a regulatory role. Before the lab reproductive hormone receptor and immunefactor receptor are widely detected in the sympathetic ganglion and feeling ganglion of femalegoats’ peripheral nervous system, neurons is main target cells that reproductive hormone andimmune factors affect, prompt that reproductive hormone and immune factors through theeffect of sympathetic nerve and sensory nerve splanchnic reflex arc and affect the functionalactivity of the body.Carotid body as sensory afferent end between visceral reflex arc, whetherit is under the influence of reproductive hormones and immune factor in the blood, if it acceptthe role of reproductive hormones and immune factors, first condition is that carotid bodycells should exist corresponding receptors. In order to detection the expression of reproductivehormone receptor、IFN-gamma receptor(IFN-γR)、IL-18receptor (IL-18R) in carotid body. Inthis study, The immunohistochemistry SP method were used to explore the expression anddistribution of reproductive hormone receptor、IFN-γR、IL-18R in carotid body of femalegoats. The results confirmed that the carotid body of female goats have conditions ofaccepting reproductive hormone、IFN-gamma、IL-18regulatory. Carotid body(CB)is richin blood vessels and nerve endings and synaptic connections, is an important hub ofneurohumoral signal integration. The main experimental results are as follows:(1) Reproductive hormone receptor(GnRHR、PR、OTR、FSHR、LHR、E-αR、E-βR)、IFN-γR、IL-18R were widely distributed on carotid body of female goats, and the products aremainly distributed in Ⅰ cells and Ⅱ cells.(2) GnRHR、PR、OTR、FSHR、LHR、E-αR、E-βR、IFN-γR、IL-18R immune positiveproducts in carotid body glomus cells of female goats are significantly higher than the relativeexpression of non-glomus cells structure (P<0.01or P<0.05); (3) GnRHR、PR、OTR、LHR、E-αR、E-βR immunoreactivity positive products werestrong positive expression on the membranes surrounding of carotid body glomus cells, butglomus cell nucleus were negative or weakly positive expression. While FSHR and IL-18Rwere medium positive expression in glomus cell nuclei. IFN-γR immunoreactivity positiveproducts were strong positive in the whole glomus cells of CB;(4)In addition, above-mentioned immune positive products were also weakly positiveexpression in carotid artery endothelial cells、connective tissue and nerve fiber.
