Apple industry in our country develops rapidly, area and yield are all the highest in the world, but the average yield and quality still have large gap compared with advanced countries, in order to explore new technology’s influence on the growth of apple planting, this article selected the typical apple cultivation region(Pingliang, gansu province of China) as the object, studied the effect of climate, grass covering, thinning and nutritional injection on apple quality and yield, and analyzed the planting technology to promote the development of apple industry, then planned the future industry development of apple. Results were as follows:1)Apple growth was closely related to climate conditions. Influence of temperature on apple production in March~August showed negative, and had the greatest negative influence in June. August~February(next year) presents positive effect; precipitation effect on apple production from late January to mid July was positive effect, and showed negative effects after July; less impact on the apple production by light.2)Grass covering could increase production and tree growth, and with the increasing year of covering grass, tree growth, fruit growth and quality, and production all had greatly increased. Three years covering presented maximum increase, the production growth above 40%. apple growth, quality and yield all showed positive correlation each other with the increase of covering grass year. 3)Apple quality showed no significant changes with the increasing thinning time, but tree and fruit growth had significant improvement. fruit quality had significant increase when thinning after two years, but the production of one year and two years after thinning compared no thinning was reduced by 12.6% and 1.5% respectively, while production rapidly increased by 33.8% after the third year of thinning.4)Nutrition injection after three years, red fruit rate, pigmentation degree, fruit shape index and forage-livestock increased by 30.9%, 26.2%, 9.6% and 35.6% respectively. Compared with the non-injected tree, Production increased and reached a higher level at the second year after injection.5)when expanded the planting area and improved the quality of the apple, management style, cultivation mode and fruit marketing should have new breakthrough at the same time. Preliminary implementation in 2020, apple panting in pingliang city are covering completely, establishing and improving the standardized management, for adapting to the development of modern apple production material supply, technical services, integrated pest prevention and control, natural disaster prevention early warning, fruit marketing system, etc.
