Energy supply and reserve related to the future of humanity, in the background ofenvironmental pollution and the growing energy crisis, looking for new available resourcesbecome the only way for the development of human society. In recent years, corn straw as apotential biomass resource has been widely developed and utilized, but the stubble stay inthe cornfield did not be treated properly. If we could collect and make use of the stubble, itnot only solves the environmental pollution caused by burning of stubble, but also obtainsavailable biomass resources, while bringing an additional income for farmers. The use ofcorn stubble depend on the constantly improving and breakthrough of corn stubble harvesttechnology. As one of the key components of corn stubble harvester, the operation effect ofcorn stubble cutting device has a decisive influence on the whole operation effect. Therefore,designing a stubble cutting device with good operation effect is the focus of the research ofcorn stubble harvester.In order to solve the drawback that the present machine can pick up stubbles, take offsoils and collect stubbles but cann’t cut corn stubble, this paper designs a corn stubblecutting device based on existing models, which can be used with the existing corn stubbleharvester. The cutting device is installed in the rear of the tractor and the front of the cornstubble harvester through the three-point suspension of tractor. Cutting corn stubble beforepicking operations, the cutting device with the existing corn stubble harvester completecutting, picking, de-soil and collection at once.This design of biomimetic corn stubble cutting device has two innovations:1, Theadjustable handle spacing is suitable for different spacing of corn stubble;2, According tothe mining characteristics of the cicada nymphs foreleg, this paper designs a set of cuttingblade with bionic structure for reducing the soil cutting resistance and power consumption.By analyzing the principle of agricultural machinery components which used to cutting stubble and stem, exploring possible ways of cutting corn stubble and combining cornstubble distribution and its mass distribution, this paper determines that the cutting edgewidth and depth of stubble cutter is200mm and150mm. According to the physicalproperties of the soil, through the edge stress analysis can know that the blade angleguaranteed slip cutting effects (angle between the edge and the forward direction) should beless than62°.The work object of corn stubble cutting blade is corn stubble witch wrapped with soil.The working environment of stubble cutter is similar to the soil environment in which thecicada nymphs front foot, so the front foot of cicada nymphs can provide reference for thedesign of bionic blade. According to the biological characteristics of cicada nymphs and itscutting soil profile, this paper uses Origin software fitting the cutting soil profile and afterthe least square approximation can know that the slope of tooth line is1.11and2.17.Based on the modeling module of Solidworks software, this paper establishs thecutting device and stubble cutting blade models with the bionic structure, then test thereasonableness of the whole machine assembly model and optimize the structure of stubblecutting device based on the whole machine model. Based on Solidworks simulation, by thestatic analysis of the key components to check the strengthand safety coefficient of theparts.By means of electronic universal testing machine test the cutting blade cut soilresistance, through3factors3levels quadratic regression orthogonal experiment,investigate the influence of various factors on the blade cut stubble soil resistance: in certainedge inclination, the size of the teeth on the influence of the soil cutting resistance than soilcutting speed significantly; In certain soil cutting speed,both the size of the teeth and theedge inclination effect soil resistance are significant; In certain teeth size, edge inclinationon the soil cutting resistance than soil cutting speed significantly.In this paper, the corn stubble cutting device was researched and innovated, a new typeof cutting device can fully match the existing machine, for the development of corn stubblecutting device and the utilization of corn stubble resources has an important significance.
