Paleacrita vernata, belongs to Lepidoptera, Lepidoptera, also known as Spring Cankerworm, is one of the main food of leaf pests, widely distributed in most areas in China(Yanchi,Ningwu, Inner Mongolia Alashan Mongolian,Hongtong of Linfen), because of its emergence in earlier period, the period of outbreak and harm is short, the harm of larva intaking and feeding mixed are main leaf eating, poplar, elm, willow and Caragana microphylla and many other species of insect pests. With laboratory rearing and field experiments, results indiecated that Paleacrita vernata occurs one generation per year.It overwinters as pupa, which period is 180-210d, for ful-time adult eclosion. The peak is in February 25th to March 15th, and there are two eclosion peaks in a day, respectively at 4:00-8:00 and 16:00-20:00. Females start at about 17:00,while the male in about 1h later, At 18:30-19:00 is a peak for courtship calling and mating, and with the increase of age, the rate of courtship and mating decrease. Each female insect laying average 110 eggs, which stage is 13~30d. The living of larvae have 5 phases, the dates of 30d, at the phase of 4 to 5,the larvae has the biggest leaf-eating and the most serious hazards. The use of Grignard reaction and phase transfer catalysis synthesis of standard compounds Z3Z6Z9-19:Hy、Z3Z6Z9-20:Hy ' Z6Z9-19:Hy,Based on the gas chromatogram technique, the retention time(27.498 ± 0.013min,27.655 ± 0.008min,29.674 ± 0.021min) was similar to the time (7.427 ± 0.072min,27.624 ± 0.033min),29.675 ± 0.017min) of the extracts of sex pheromone glands. And the results of field trapping tests show that the these three standard compounds can be mixed to a total dose of 1100μg induced core by the rate of 8:2:l,which can achieve ideal trapping effect.
