Polyscias also known as Nanyang Sen (Pofyscas), was the polyscias shrubs of Araliaceae genus which has more than 80 species, and native to the tropics of the Americas, Asia, the Pacific Islands. In the late 1990 of the 20th century,it was introducted and cultivated to China. The domestic research is less becauae of the shorter introduced time. This experiment was carried out the preliminary study on the cutting rapid propagation technology of Polyscias, aimed provides the theoretical basis to cuttage rapid propagation system of polyscias. The main content and conclusion were as follows:1,Polyscias scutellaria were compared the effect of cutting respectively at IBA and NAA and root Sun three hormones as well as 100mg/L,200mg/L,400mg/L three concentration levels. After testing and analysis, a conclusion was reached that when the concentration of NAA was 400 mg/L, the comprehensive cutting propagation effect would to attain the best.2, In the concentration of N-I(mixed hormones NAA:IBA=8:2, hereinafter referred to as N-I) for the 100mg/L,200mg/L,400mg/L, Polyscias scutellaria were Compared the cutting effect of the upper branch, the Middle branch and the lower branches respectively. After testing and analysis, a conclusion was reached that when the concentration of N-I was 200mg/L and the upper branches were combined, the comprehensive cutting propagation effect would to achieve the best.3, In the case of different parts of branches, P.bailey, P.scutellaria, P.pennockii, P.fruticosa, P.ruffles, P.roseleaf were Compared the cutting effect respectively under the condition of 200mg/L N-I. After testing and analysis, a conclusion was reached that when different varieties of the polyscias were Compared the cutting effect respectively under the condition of 200mg/L N-I, cutting results of the upper branches were better than other parts of branches. So the condition of 200mg/L N-I was recommended when Polyscias was cutting propagation.
