The Research Of Management Countermeasures Of Animal Epidemic Disease Prevention Townships

Livestock farming is an important pillar industry of Chinese agricultural township economy。In recent years, the impact of SARS incident, repeated outbreaks of bird flu that cause animal diseases alert people to a new height. This article draws towns with Chinese traditional characteristics, it has its specific characters, locations and behaviors. We put all aspects that can affect the animal diseases to discuss and analysis. In township, it has three main agents for the animal production, the most important agent is farms, the others are animal epidemice prevention station and an administration station is set in every village, the third one is breed improvement station. In this paper, all things are combined together through aquaculture production line. This aquaculture production line can be divided from the source. It has the introduction of animal species, the building of livestock farm, the production and breeding of livestock, disease prevention and health management, pollution after breeding. Every step is a direct role for the township grassroots. This article first analyses the connection between every steps and animal diseases, then explain the current situation of every aspects, finally give policy suggestions according to the examples. The famers’ educational level are not high and consciousness of environmental protection are not enough, they are lack of way to gain the new information and new technology, so the livestock breeding industry which is a low-profit traditional industry is in an embrassed situation that it is difficult to gain the economic investments and knowledge inputs. If a wide range of animal diseases happen, not only people’s health will endanger, but also it is a great disaster to the farmers who will suffer from economic lose greatly. In this article, the mangement countermeasures we discussed are all good for the farmers and the animal epidemic prevention and quarantine station. It combines the management countermeasures, application agents and application environments, in order to makes it better adapt to the special environment of township. Hope it will contribute to the development of the aquaculture industry.
