Piankou protected areas and Xiaozhaizigou nature reserves were located in Beichuan County, where the forest resource and wild animal habitat was severely damaged in the "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake. In order to accelerate the ecological environment and the protection of giant pandas and other rare wildlife habitat area restoration and reconstruction, Beichuan two nature reserves were carried out by the giant panda habitat protection and restoration project survey design and related research work.This study was on the giant panda protection animal habitat restoration construction technology research, mainly based on tree configuration and structure of the research and selection of forest vegetation recovery on grass, summary for Beichuan earthquake vegetation restoration models. Besides, take Beichuan nature reserve’s forest ecosystem as the research object, build the beichuan two nature reserves in different vegetation restoration mode of ecological benefit evaluation index system, using the method of screening of ecological benefits evaluation, assessment the ecological benefits of vegetation restoration after earthquake in two natural protected areas of Beichuan, for protect giant pandas and other habitat restoration effect concluded that for further comprehensive, in-depth study of beichuan forest ecological system to provide theoretical basis for the fast recovery after the quake.The results of the study showed that:(1)Beichuan two natural protection zones vegetation restoration area of 12232.49hm2. The study in 8 vegetation restoration site types as the basis, depending on the specific location, topography, soil, afforestation subcompartment earthquake damage degree and other factors, combined with the tree (bamboo, shrub, grass) species biological restoration, ecological characteristics and social economic status to design corresponding vegetation restoration model. Through investigation, two natural protection zones of Beichuan have implemented 9 different vegetation restoration types. In this study, based on this research to extract the four vegetation recovery mode, that is, vegetation restoration model of artificial bamboo plantation, artificial demand vegetation restoration model, vegetation reconstruction pattern of vegetation restoration, closed forest vegetation restoration pattern.(2)Build mode of beichuan two nature reserves in different vegetation restoration ecological benefit evaluation index system, it including system layer (water conservation, soil conservation, carbon fixation and oxygen release, purifying environment, maintaining biological diversity value 5 aspects) and index layer (water efficiency, water purification efficiency, effectiveness solid soil, fertilizer efficiency, CO2 fixation efficiency, effectiveness release O2, SO2 absorption value, the value of block dust, shannon-wiener index 9 indicators). The system layer we selected targeted calculation method, calculated Piankou nature reserve, Xiaozhaizigou nature reserve of water efficiency, water purification efficiency; solid earth benefit, fertilizer efficiency; fixed CO2 benefits, the benefits of releasing O2; SO2 absorption value, blocking dust value; maintain the value of biodiversity.The ecological restoration benefits of different vegetations in Beichuan two nature reserves were 643138489.7 yuan per year. Among them, the forest water conservation benefit was 293814623.81 yuan per year, soil and water conservation benefit was 8159372.42 yuan per year, carbon fixation and oxygen production benefit was 96062658.96 yuan per year, cleaning up the environment benefit was 452034.55 yuan per year and maintenance of biological diversity benefit was 24464980 yuan per year.(3)After the giant panda habitat restoration and other protective effect evaluation shows:the earthquake have minimal impact on the habitat, through the ecological restoration of biological factor, disturbance factor caused by the earthquake has been basically eliminated, primary repair of giant panda habitat protection of domestic animal "fragmentation", "island" phenomenon, the giant panda protection animal habitat has been restored to the level before the earthquake.
