Objective:Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic gastric empting effects of the eliminatingturbidity anddetoxification medicine on patients with chronic atrophic gastritis.Methods:60cases were randomly divided into a treatment group(30cases) and a controlgroup(30cases). The patients of the treatment group were treated with the eliminatingturbidity and detoxification medicine, taken one doze daily, and by halves in the morning andevening before meals; the patients of the control group were treated with Weifuchun tablet,taken4tablets once, three times per day,30minutes before each meal. One month’s treatmentformed one course of treatment. Thecourse of treatment lasted for two periods. During thetreatment, patients stopped taking any other medicine for the disease. Results:their clinical symptoms, such as epigastralgia, morning satiety, sickness, belching, wereobserved and compared. Experimental examinations: By13C aspiration experiments theconditions of the gastric empty solid food were examined respectively before and after thetreatment, at the same time the symptoms were collected and added, the results were staticallyanalyzed. Conclusions:The curative effects, half emptying time(T1/2), delay time (Tlag), gastric emptyingcoefficient (GEC) of the treatment group were superior to that of the control group. There wasa significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). The clinical symptoms (CAG) andthree gastric emptying indexes of chronic atrophic gastritis were improved in the patients ofthe treatment group and the controls. Conclusion The eliminating turbidity and detoxificationmedicine can improve gastric power and promote gastric emptying, which enriches the theoryof eliminating turbidity and thus it can be applied to guide the clinical practice.
