ObjectiveExamine IL-18levels of serum, aqueous humor and intravitreous in patients with type2diabetic retinopathy to explore its pathogenesisSubjects and methodsFirst part, select cases of cataract with type2diabetes hospitalizations from March to November,2013in the department of ophthalmology, the First People’s Hospital of Yunnan. The45patients were divided into NDR group (group-B), NPDR group (group-C), PDR group (group-D), control group (group-A) has13patients.all the patients were asked to collect the serum, and aqueous humor; Second part, select cases of inpatient treatment vitrectomy surgery from March to November,2013in the department of ophthalmology, the First People’s Hospital of Yunnan.The43patients were divided into PDR groups (group-E), IMH group (group-F), RRD group (group-G), all the patients were asked to collect the serum and vitreous humor. To detect IL-18of the serum and aqueous humor and vitreous humor levels by ELISA. The resulting data is computed as mean±standard deviation, mean of each group were compared using one-way ANOVA, multiple samples of each group were compared using pairwise q test. The relationship between the two factors with Kendall correlation analysis was used to compare.Result1compared with the control group, the IL-18of serum levels in NDR group, NPDR group, PDR were increased, the result has a significant difference.2In the diabetes mellitus patients, IL-18levels of serum in NDR group, NPDR group, PDR gro up was decreased, the result has a significant difference.3compared with the control group, IL-18of aqueous humor in NDR groupd and NPDR group, and PDR. group were increased, the result has a significant difference. 4IL-18levels in aqueous humor during the experimental groups has no significant difference.5IL-18levels of vireous boby and serum in the PDR group were higher than the IMH group and RRD group, the result has a significant difference.6IL-18levels of vitreous boby and serum in IMH group and RRD group the result has a no significant difference.7compared with the control group, the FBG in NDR group was increased, the result has a significant difference.9. FBG values of serum in the NPDR group and PDR group were higher than the control group, the result has no significant difference.10IL-18in serum and fasting glucose have a weakly positive correlationConclusions1the IL-18variation levels may be involved in the development of type2diabetic retinopathy.2IL-18serum may be a indicator of predicting the diabetic retinopathy.3IL-18in serum and fasting glucose have a weakly positive correlation...
