Objective:Through research on the treatment of cough with the type of phlegm dampness inthe lung by Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen. To observe the changes of clinical symptoms, physical signs and the number of white blood cells in patients. The study confirmedthat this method is a kind of special treatment is safe, effective, worthy of promotionMethods:To Select60patients met the inclusion criteria of cough in the type of phlegmdampness in lung, who were randomly divided into experimental group(30patient)andcomparison group(30patient). The patients in experiment group are treated by Shao’smethod of Wu Zhen plus combinative treatment, and the patients in comparison groupare treated by conventional acupuncture treatment, with one treatment per day forpatients in both groupsand treatment lasting for10days of a course. Then the patientshad a rest of a day, giving them the other course.After2courses, The patients werefollowed every three months. By observing and comparing the measurement of thechanges of clinical symptoms and signs and the number white cells between the twogroups, and before and after the therapy, to observe the clinical effect of the Shao’sMethod of Wu Zhen treatment.Result:1This study conforms to the standard of54cases.There were27cases in theexperimental group which was clinical control in1cases, markedly effective in22cases, effective in4cases, ineffective in0cases. The total efficiency of theexperimental group is100%; There were27cases in the comparison group which wasclinical control in0cases, markedly effective in15cases, effective in12cases, ineffective in0cases, The total efficiency of the comparison group is100%.The twogroups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Tht curative effect of the experimentalgroup was better than control group.2To observe the effect of the total score of signs and symptoms, cough, expectoration and wheezing by two kinds of treatment in the cough of phlegmdampness in lung. The results shows: the factors in group shows significant difference(P<0.05),the factors between the two group show significant difference (P<0.05).The Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen and conventional acupuncture therapy both canimprove the total score of signs and symptoms, cough, expectoration and wheezing bytwo kinds of treatment in the cough of phlegm dampness in lung which had bettercurative effect after two courses of treatment. The signs and symptoms, cough, expectoration and wheezing have been controlled in stable curative effect, and norecurrence was found in the following.3To observe the effect of two kinds of treatment in the cough of phlegmdampness in lung. The results shows: the factors of nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, anorexia, abdominal distension, thirsty, shortness of breath, susceptibility in theexperimenta group shows significant difference (P<0.05) before and after the therapy, the factors of chest pain, sweating, mouth parched and tongue scorched show nosignificant difference(P>0.05); The factors of nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, abdominal distension, thirsty, shortness of breath, susceptibility in the comparisongroup shows significant difference (P<0.05) before and after the therapy, the factorsof anorexia, chest pain, sweating, mouth parched and tongue scorched show nosignificant difference(P>0.05). The Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen and conventionalacupuncture therapy both can improve the signs and symptoms sof treatment in thecough of phlegm dampness in lung with experiment group superior than comparisongroup, especially in the factor of shortness of breath.4To observe the changes of the data of blood routine examination with two kindsof treatment in the cough of phlegm dampness in lung. The results shows: the numberof red blood cell, hemoglobin and eosinophilin in the two group shows no significant difference (P>0.05) before and after the therapy, the number of white blood cellsshows significant difference(P>0.05); The difference of blood test in the two groupshows no significant difference (P>0.05) before and after the therapy. It shows thatthe total number of white blood cells were significantly reduced after treatment in twogroups of patients, and the number of red blood cell, hemoglobin, eosinophils did notchangeConclusion:1The Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen can improve the signs and symptoms, cough, expectoration and wheezing of the cough of phlegm dampness in lung, which improvethe clinical symptoms of eliminating phlegm, relieving cough and asthma.2The Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen can reduce the number of white blood cells ofthe cough of phlegm dampness in lung, and inflammatory infiltration, which would bethe therapeutic mechanism of The Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen.3The characteristics of The Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen are acupoint selectionto streamline and curative effect, which could facilitate clinical application...
