The Research Of YiShenChenQianFang’s Role In Intervention Of Tamoxifen’s Side Effects During The Endocrine Therapy For Patients With Breast Cancer

This study is under the guidance of the basic theory of the traditional chinese medicine, combining with the clinical experience of professor You Jian-liang. We take chinese medicine combining with tamoxifen to treat the patients with breast cancer during the endocrine therapy. Now I summarized its theoretical basis, and clinical curative effect, drug experience.Object:This subject is based on the endocrine drugs tamoxifen, with the application of Prof. You Jianliang’s experienced prescription, YiShenChenQianFang. We compared the kuppermann symptom scores of the treatment group and control group, observed on estrogen level,endometrial thickness,ovarian morphologic changes, immunologic function, tumor marker and changes of tumor focus and lymph nodes through randomized controlled clinical trials research. We evaluated YiShenChenQianFang’s role in intervention of TAM’s side effects, provided beneficial basis for the widespread use of YiShenChenQianFang and opened up new ideas and methods for the Chinese and Western treatment of tumors.Methods:Adopting the randomized clinical trial design method, according to random number table,60definite patients with breast cancer have been assigned into two groups,30in the group of TAM combined with YiShenChenQianFang,30in the group of TAM only. They were observed for three months with Kupperman and Karnofsky scale score as the tools for measurement, and referred to the traditional evaluating indexes of clinical efficiency and safety.Results:Patients received TAM added on YiShenChenQianFang displayed more effectively on reducing the kuppermann symptom scores, enhancing the quality of life, reducing the level of tumor markers, improving cellular immune function and improving the objective curative effect. Showing significant difference among the three groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:In this research YiShenChenQianFang can obviously reduce Tamoxifen’s side effects. TAM added on YiShenChenQianFang can enhance patients’QOL and immunity, meanwhile enhance curative effect for tumour. Therefore TAM added on YiShenChenQianFang is worth to clinical application for breast cancer.
