Objective:Comparison of the therapy alone of pirarubicin hydrochloride(THP) and hydroxy camptothecin (HCPT), and alternative therapy and combined therapy effects of pirarubicin hydrochloride(THP) and hydroxy camptothecin (HCPT) in the treatment of superficial bladder cancer after operation. Method:The clinical data of214cases of superficial bladder tumor of the second affiliated hospital of xinjia ng medical university and the fifth affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical Universi ty were collected in2002May to2010May in our hospital, which were treated with transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TUR-BT), and with postoperative app lication THP alone therapy, HCPT alone therapy, alternating method of THP+HCP T and a combination method of THP+HCPT in the four groups, respectively, in b ladder perfusion therapy. All of them were follow-up of2years, the recurrence rat e of the tumors was observed in3months,6months,9months,12months,18m onths,24months and the incidence of adverse reaction was observed during the re perfusion period. Result:Comparison of the recurrent rates of after3months,6m onths,9months,12months,18months,24months,The recurrence rate of THP+H CPT alternating group and THP+HCPT combination method were lower than the THP and HCPT alone therapy group (P<0.0127). The recurrence rate of THP+H CPT alternating group was lower than the THP+HCPT combination group(P>0.0127). The recurrence rate of HCPT group was lower than THP(P>0.0127). The occ urrence rate of urinary irritation symptoms in the four groups was35.7%,32.7%,42.3%,15.7%, respectively. The incidence of urinary tract irritation of THP+HCPT alternating group was lower than the other three groups (P<0.0127). The inciden ce of urinary tract irritation of the remaining three groups was no significant differ ence (P>0.0127).The incidence of hematuria of the four groups were35.7%,32.7%,42.3%,15.7%, respectively. The hematuria incidence of THP+HCPT alternating group was lower than the other three groups(P<0.0127). The incidence of hematu ria of the remaining three groups was no significant difference (P>0.0127). The L iver and kidney damage and blood abnormalities rates were10.7%,9.1%,15.4%,3.9%, respectively. The rates of liver and kidney dysfunction and blood abnormalities were lower in the THP+HCPT alternating group than the THP+HCPT combined group, The rates of liver and renal dysfunction and abnormal blood was also low er in the THP+HCPT alternating group than the THP and HCPT alone group,(P>0.0127). Conclusion:The intravesical instillation of THP+HCPT alternating method and THP+HCPT combined method can prevent the recurrence after the postoperat ive superficial bladder cancer. Compared with other three methods the side effects is low, and it is recommendable for clinic.
