Objective:To investigate the expression of p27、PTEN and VEGF in gastric carcinoma, to analyzed its relationship with clinico-pathological features of gastric cancer. To investigate the development and clinical significant of p27、PTEN and VEGF in stomach cancer. Method:Immunohistochemistry S-P method was applied to examine the expression of PTEN、p27 and VEGF protein expression in 69 cases of gastric carcinoma and adjacent tissues. To analysis of its relationship with clinic-pathological features of gastric cancer patients and correlation between p27、PTEN and. VEGF. Result:(1)p27 positive patients the positive expression rate was 88.4% in the adjacent tissues, 40.5% in the gastric cancer. There was a significant difference(χ2=34.460,P<0.001).p27 protein expression in gastric cancer unrelated with sex, age, tumor size, but related with tumor differentiation, depth of invasion, lymphatic metastasis and TNM staging. p27 expression was significantly decreased in the lower division, the deeper the invasion, lymphatic node metastasis, or TNM high staging of gastric carcinoma. There was a significant difference(P<0.05).(2)PTEN-positive patients the positive expression rate was 82.6% in the adjacent tissues, 42.0% in the gastric cancer. There was a significant difference(χ2=24.193,P<0.001). PTEN expression in gastric cancer unrelated with sex, age, tumor size, but related with tumor differentiation, invasive of serous layer, lymphatic metastasis and TNM staging. PTEN positive expression was significantly decreased, there was a significant difference(P<0.05).(3)VEGF-positive patients the positive expression rate was 69.7% in the gastric cancer, 27.5% in the adjacent tissue. Expression in gastric cancer is higher than the adjacent tissues, there was a significant difference(χ2=24.397,P<0.001). VEGF expression in gastric cancer unrelated with sex, age, tumor size, but related with tumor differentiation, depth of invasion, lymphatic metastasis and TNM staging. VEGF positive expression was significantly increased, there was a significant difference(P<0.05).(4)p27 and PTEN expression rate was 88.4% and 82.6% in gastric cancer,no significant difference between them, but there is a positive correlation( rs=0.672,χ2=31.121,P<0.001).(5)p27 and VEGF expression rate was 88.4% and 69.7% in gastric cancer,no significant difference between them, but there is a negative correlation(rs=-0.480, χ2=15.876,P<0.001).(6)PTEN and VEGF expression rate was 82.6% and 69.7% in gastric cancer,no significant difference between them, but there is a negative correlation( rs=-0.480, χ2=15.876,P=0.001). Conclusion:(1)p27, PTEN protein expression decrease, VEGF expression increase related with the degree of differentiation of depth of invasion, lymphatic metastasis, the development of gastric cancer, and participated in the process of mucosal cells malignant ion. Which p27, PTEN expression decreased make the inhibitory affection decrease, mediates tumor differentiation, VEGF promote growth, invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer.(2)P27, PTEN protein expression decreased, VEGF expression increased, there were lower degree of tumor differentiation, a higher degree of malignancy and poorly prognosis. Combined detection can be used make the initial diagnosis, it is the biological indicators to determine prognosis.
