Objective: To analyse the differences of serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 level between people with and without hypertension in Xinjiang Uygur and Han patients, and to explore the relationship between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 levels and blood pressure in two ethnic group patients. Furthermore,to study the common risk factors of hypertension in two ethnic group patients. Methods: Choose 198 cases of patients with essential hypertension,Uygur 101,Han 97, and choose 198 cases of normal control group, Uygur 101,Han 97. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used for the detection of serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels, and serum Calcium(Ca)、serum phosphorus(P)、fasting blood glucose(FBG)、blood lipid、blood urea nitrogen(BUN)、creatinine(CR) were measured by immunochemiluminometric assays.According to the 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels,we divide the research object into vitamin D deficiency(≤20ng/ml).vitamin D insufficiency(21-29ng/ml)and vitamin D sufficiency(≥30ng/ml).Results:1 In all 396 cases, serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 mean levels was(12.92±7.87)ng/ml,vitamin D deficiency accounted for 85.10%, vitamin D insufficiency accounted for 11.36%,but vitamin D sufficiency is only 3.54%, both Uygur subjects and Han subjects had high morbidity of Vitamin D deficiency(respectively, 88.44% 、 81.73%), there were no significant differences in vitamin D deficiency rate.2 In patients with essential hypertension, serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 mean levels was(9.69±6.08) ng/ml in Uygur patients, and(13.11±6.83)ng/ml in Han patients, which showed a significant difference between two roups(P=0.000). In normal control group, serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 mean levels was(14.07±7.24) ng/ml in Uygur peoples, and(14.87±9.88)ng/ml in Han peoples, which showed no significant difference between two groups(P=0.518). Serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels in Uygur essential hypertension group were marked lower than Uygur normal control group, there was a significant difference(P=0.000);while serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels was no significant difference between Han essential hypertension group and Han normal contral group(P=0.148).3 In Uygur essential hypertension group, there were significant negative correlation between serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels and Systolic Blood Pressure(r=-0.330、P=0.001)、diastolic blood pressure(r=-0.288、P=0.004),and there were significant positive correlation between serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels and total cholesterol( r=0.322、P=0.001)、high density lipoprotein cholesterol(r=0.307、P=0.002),while serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels had no correlation with serum Calcium、serum phosphorus、fasting blood glucose、triglycerides、low density lipoprotern cholesterol、blood urea nitrogen、creatinine(P>0.05).In Han essential hypertension group, there were significant negative correlation between serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels and systolic blood pressure(r=-0.530 、 P=0.000) 、 diastolic blood pressure(r=-0.416、P=0.000),and there were significant positive correlation between serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels and Calcium( r=0.351、P=0.000)、phosphorus(r=0.253、P=0.013),while serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels had no correlation with fasting blood glucose、triglycerides、total Cholesterol、high density lipoprotein cholesterol、low density lipoprotern cholesterol、blood urea nitrogen、creatinine(P>0.05).4 The risk factors of hypertension were lower serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels(β=-0.107,P=0.000) and higher body mass index(β=0.115,P=0.005) in Uygur patients, while the risk factors of hypertension were higher triglycerides(TG) levels(β=0.391,P=0.027)and higher creatinine(CR) levels(β=0.027 P=0.009)in Han patients. Conclusion: The observed peoples of Xinjiang Uygur and Han nationality,no matter with and without hypertension, have prevalence of vitamin D deficiency.serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels in Uygur subjects are statistically lower than Han subjects(P<0.01),in essential hypertension patients the diffenence of 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels is obvious between two ethnics.Which show racial difference in Vitamin D levels. There are significant negative correlation between serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels and blood pressure in two ethnic patients, and there are significant positive correlation between serum 25-hydroxy-vitamin D3 levels and Calcium、phosphorus、total Cholesterol、high density lipoprotein cholesterol.Serum 25(OH) D concentration was an independent risk factor of hypertension in Uygur patients.
