ObjectiveUsing the theory of " correlationship between heart and kidney" to discus the effect of sanqi oral liquid, which has function of benefiting qi for activating blood circulation,in preventing SD rat’s the cardiac lesion after its’kidney failure through 3/4 nephrectomy, and in preventing SD rat’ s the nephritic lesion after its’severe cardiac fibrosis through injected isoproterenol.Methods1. Under the guidance of TCM " heart kidney related " theory, establishing SD rat’s kidney failure in early metaphase model, and set up a sanqi oral liquid treatment group, and set a model group as control group.6 weeks after treatment, detecting rats’cardiac index, myocardial HE staining, TGF-β1 expression on myocardium.2. establishing SD rat’s severe cardiac fibrosis model through injected isoproterenol, set a sanqi oral liquid treatment group, and set a model group as control group. A total of 6 weeks after treatment, detect the rats’kidney tissue HE staining, VEGF expression in kidney and collecting 24h urine albumin excretion for comparing index.Results1. Compared the two groups of 3/4 nephrectomy model, the treatment group has different degrees of improvement, including lower heart’s LVW/HW, LVW/BW index (P< 0.01), almost none of myocardial fibrosis, immunohistochemical staining manifesting less TGF-β1 expression (P<0.01). Suggesting that, compared with model group, the treatment group has improvement of cardiac lesions and more mild nephritic lesions.2.Compared the two groups of severe cardiac fibrosis model, the sanqi treatment group has different degrees of improvement in kidney, including almost no fibrosis on kidney tissue, more VEGF expression (P<0.05) and less 24 h urinary albumin excretion (P<0.01). Suggesting that, compared with model group, the treatment group has improvement of nephritic lesions and more mild cardiac lesions.Conclusion1. Rat’s 3/4 nephrectomy model and severe cardiac fibrosis model possibly are fundamental model of TCM" heart kidney related " theory, which are the initial lesion model of heart kidney syndrome as well. Moreover, compared with rat’s kidney lesions caused by severe cardiac fibrosis, rat’s 3/4 nephrectomy may be more likely to cause cardiac lesions。2. Under the guidance of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the sanqi oral liquid, which has the function of benefiting qi for activating blood circulation, could obviously mitigate the rat’s kidney lesions after 3/4 nephrectomy and prevent the possible cardiac lesions. Meanwhile, the sanqi oral liquid could also mitigate the rat’s cardiac lesions after injected isoproterenol and prevent the possible nephritic lesions. What probably suggests that the sanqi oral liquid could postpone the rat’s renal heart disease process.3. The recognization of visceral manifestation imbalance in initial stage in TCM is far away from western medicine knowledge of achieving on pathology or clinical diagnosis standard. With the help of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine " preventive treatment of disease " " preventing disease from exacerbating ",and under the guidance of thinking " treatment based on syndrome differentiation", what can achieve prevention or treatment of diseases when implementation of early active treatment of TCM would be supplied. Therefore, the thinking of traditional Chinese medicine on features and advantages is into full play.
