Objective(1) The use of stereological systematic random sampling principle and the measurement points for the measurement and screening morphometric tissue stereological parameters of the root class medicine Saposhnikoviae Radix, Codonopsis Radix, Achyranthes bidentatae Radix transverse section. To the establishment of the root class medicine have stable, exclusive stereological parameters as indicators for evaluation system. (2)To determine the active ingredient content from different habitats, and related analysis with the stereological parameters of medicine transverse section microscopic tissue,analyzed the distribution of the active ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine transverse section. Providing basic data of morphologically for the identification and quality control of traditional Chinese medicineMethodsTransverse sections of the materials was made with polyethylene glycol 2000 as the filling and embedding media; Based on systematic random sampling, tissue volume fractions and catheter Feret diameters of the materials were measured, while under the same conditions of extraction, separation, absorbance was measured in samples from different habitats medicinal active chemical components. Using discriminant analysis and correlation analysis for the statistical analysis of stereological parameters and chemical composition of traditional Chinese medicine.Results(1)The establishment of a discriminant function between origin discrimination for Saposhnikoviae Radix, Codonopsis Radix, Achyranthes bidentatae Radix. (2) Obtaining exclusive, stable identification indicators for Saposhnikoviae Radix, Codonopsis Radix, Achyranthes bidentatae Radix. (3) Saposhnikoviae Radix pipe volume fraction and volatile oil content at 0.01 level, P= 0.000 a positive correlation, Linear coefficient r= 0.945; Codonopsis Radix phloem volume fraction and saponin content at 0.05 level, P-0.02 was a positive correlation, Linear coefficient r= 0.591; Achyranthes bidentatae Radix phloem volume fraction and saponin content level at 0.01, P-0.000 a positive correlation, Linear coefficient r= 0.838.ConelusionTo aid stereological systems theory for quantitative analysis and morphological description of the tissue type in root class traditional Chinese medicine transverse section. Size and the relative amount of microscopic tissue in root class traditional Chinese medicine Saposhnikoviae Radix, Codonopsis Radix, Achyranthes bidentatae Radix transverse section. Used to describtion, identification for the root class traditional Chinese medicines. while the correlation analysis between active ingredient content and stereological parameters of microscopic tissue in traditional Chinese medicine transverse section. To determine the distribution of chemical content in traditional Chinese medicine transverse section. Providing basic data of morphologically for the identification and quality control of traditional Chinese medicine.
