The Clinical Observation And The Mechanism Research Of The Treatment Using Qi Lian Fu Zheng Capsule Combined With Tamoxifen On Hormone Positive Breast-cancer

Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of the treatment using Qi Lian Fu Zhengcapsule combined with Tamoxifen (TAM) on hormone positive breast-cancer, and todiscuss the mechanism of Qi Lian Fu Zheng capsule’s effect on human breast-cancerMCF-7cell via in vitro experiment.Methods:44breast-cancer patients accorded with the inclusive criteria were selectedusing clinical study with21patients in control group (TAM treatment) and23patients intreatment group (Qi Lian Fu Zheng combined with TAM treatment). After2courses’treatment, karnofsky performance score (KPS), TCM syndrome and the changes ofEstrogen levels were compared; the in vitro experiment mainly used MTT method, flowcytometry, immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR technic to study the mechanism of Qi LianFu Zheng capsule’s effect on human breast-cancer MCF-7cell.Results: The clinical study has proved that Qi Lian Fu Zheng capsule cansignificantly improve the clinical symptoms of blood stasis type of breast-cancer patients,reduce the side effects of oral application of TAM, but maintain the patients’ estrogenlevels and inhibit the breast-cancer metastasis; the experiment study has proved that QiLian Fu Zheng capsule has inhibits its growth and proliferation, reserves the cell cycle andblocks the cell in G1phase, down regulation of CyclinD1protein expression and upregulation of P53gene expression, it has synergistic reaction with TAM.Conclusion: Qi Lian Fu Zheng capsule can significantly improve the clinicalsymptoms of the breast-cancer patients, reduce the side effects of TAM, improve thepatients’ life quality; Qi Lian Fu Zheng capsule can block cell in G1phase by inhibition the expression of CyclinD1protein and increasion P53up-regulated expression of P53gene and then reserve the cell cycle.
