| Objective:Temper deficiency and phlegm with blood stasis is the key pathogenesis of advanced lung cancer patients, which temper deficiency-oriented, phlegm and blood stasis is surface. In this study, "Yi qi jian pi and Jie du san jie" is one of the most important principle of treatment, based on it, we choose "Qi lian fu zheng capsule" to study the combined curative effect of Chinese medicines and chemotherapy on NSCLC and the side effects of chemotherapy (GP regimen). Methods:64 subjects with advanced NSCLC were randomly divided into two groups,32 patients in the treated group were administered with "Qi lian fu zheng capsule" and chemotherapy (GP regimen),32 patients in the control group with chemotherapy alone. Objective effects and the changes of subjective symptoms were studied during two periods of treatment. Results:After two periods of treatment, the subjective symptoms,KPS,body weights,immune parameters were all significantly improved in the treated group, better than in the control one. But there was no difference between two groups on the size of focus, the toxicity occurent rate and toxic degree ware slighter in the treated group than in the control one. Conclusion:"Qi lian fu zheng capsule"and chemotherapy(GP regimen) have plusly curative effect on treating advanced NSCLC.
