ObjectiveThis research is based on the epidemiological research methods, and according to the perspective of the theory of Traditional Chinese medical Constitution. Trying to explore the characteristics of TCM constitution of patients who underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy due to benign gynecological diseases. In addition, this research collects the objects of postoperative recovery. So as to explore new ideas and new methods to promote the recovery after gynecological operation. It can also provide theoretical support for clinical the application in the future.MethodsChoosing patients after hysterectomy because of uterine leiomyoma, adenomyosis etc as the research object. All these patients were treated with routine treatment after operation. Recording the time of anal exhaust and defecation, and any complications during the research. With informed consent, release Issuing Chinese constitution classification and decision table of self testing to the patients. Collecting and summarizing these testig, using SPSS19.0 statistical software for data analysis. Finally, explore the relationship between the characteristics of TCM Constitution and the postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function.Results1. In all these patients who underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy due to benign gynecological diseases, the constitution of yin-yang harmony is the major, accounting for 52% of total patients. Secondly, constitution of qi deficiency accounted for 18%.Thirdly, constitution of stasis of blood accounted for 13%. Forthtl, constitution of qi stagnation accounted 10%. Fifthly, constitution of yin deficiency accounted for 4%. Last but not least, constitution of phlegm dampness accounted for 3% of all the patients.2. Comparison of the gastrointestinal recovery between the yin-yang harmony constitution and 8 kinds of biased constitution:after the rank and inspection, the exhaust time, defecation time, hospitalization expenses and hospitalization days between the two groups showed no statistical difference. (P>0.05). It is shows that the gastrointestinal recovery doesn’t have any difference.3. Comparing to the exhaust time, defecation time among 9 kinds of constitution, it showed no statistical difference. (P>0.05). The average hospitalization cost of yin-yang harmony constitution is 19919.9 yuan, while constitution of stasis of blood is 37482.0 yuan. According to rank sum test, it has statistical difference (P<0.05). Comparison of The average hospitalization days, constitution of stasis of blood (7days) <constitution of yin-yang harmony (10 days) <constitution of qi stagnation(lldays) <constitution of qi deficiency (11.5 days<constitution of yin deficiency(14days) <constitution of phlegm dampness(16 days). It shows that constitution of phlegm dampness is the longest. Comparing to constitution of yin-yang harmony, constitution of qi deficiency and constitution of qi stagnation, it has statistical difference (P<0.05). While the hospitalization days of constitution of stasis of blood is shorter than constitution of yin deficiency and constitution of phlegm dampness. It also has statistical difference (P<0.05). From this, it shows some different among different kinds of medicinal constitution in postoperative recovery.Conclusion1. The characteristics of TCM constitution of who underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy because of gynecological benign lesions:the yin-yang constitution is the most, constitution of qi deficiency is the second. Thirdly, the constitution of blood stasis. It is shows that the constitution of qi deficiency and blood stasis have ertain effect in the postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function.2. Each group of constitution shows no significant statistical difference in defecation time, Complication rate, Healing of the operation and exhaust time. It may be related to less sample size. So it needs more clinical research has to be continued in the future.
