Development Of Quality Of Life Questionnaire With Traditional Chinese Medicine Characteristics For Patients With Ulcerative Colitis

[Objective] This study explored and developed for ulcerative colitis patients with TCM characteristics and quality of life scale. Through literature research, interviews, Delphi expert consultation and clinical research of inventory items such as filtering, preliminary determined with TCM characteristics of ulcerative colitis patients quality of life scale of entry, and carries on the preliminary evaluation on the scale.[Methods] Accoring the guidance of TCM theory, combined with the connotation of international quality of life scale, build with TCM characteristics of ulcerative colitis patients quality of life scale theory framework. By reviewing medical records system, literature analysis, patient interviews and expert consultation by the entry of scale of the pool, the team to comprehensive analysis of the item pool, establish the item pool, formed the initial scale. Team to initial scale and pilot experiment investigation, and according to the results of the survey to improve the entry. In jiangsu province, Chinese medicine hospital clinical investigation, frequency distribution, the discrete data of the recovery scale trend, factor analysis and other statistical analysis, the formation of scale, and the reliability and validity of scientific evaluation.[Results] "In traditional Chinese medicine characteristics of ulcerative colitis patients quality of life scale" is divided into physical, psychological, independence and social fields. The data of 265 patients with UC data statistical analysis, the results show that fill in the time scale of this study is reasonable, high recovery rate. Crowns Bach coefficient of scale:the scale crowns Bach coefficient is 0.920, the physical dimension is 0.874, the psychological dimension is 0.834, independence dimension is 0.763, the social dimension of 0.733. Scale reliability:1/2 volume table of odd-even binary coefficient is 0.936, the dimension of binary coefficient was 0.890,0.911,0.789 and 0.763, respectively. Scale for each item and the field phase relationship is high, good content validity and structure validity.[Conclusions] Developed by this study "of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a characteristic of ulcerative colitis patients quality of life scale", through a variety of statistical methods screening scale item pool, formed the different TCM syndrome of ulcerative colitis, quality of life scale and volume table for the evaluation of the reliability and validity.
