There are 89 conjunctions in The Internal Chapter of Bao Puzi, in which monosyllabic words are 48, and two-syllable words are 41.According to the meaning standard, the conjunctions can be divided into ten categories:coordinate conjunction, undertake conjunction, progressive conjunction, selection conjunction, causal conjunction, transition conjunction, concession conjunction, conditional conjunction, purpose conjunction. This paper analysises the grammatical meaning and usage of the conjuntions, counts the quantity of the conjuntions, and describes the fountion of the conjuntions.Secondly, this paper generalizes the composition which is connected by the conjunction in The Internal Chapter of Bao Puzi. The conjunctions in The Internal Chapter of Bao Puzi can connect word and word, word and phrase, phrase and phrase, clause and clause, sentence and sentence, paragraph and paragraph.
