The semantic map model is a newly developed semantic analysis instrument in typology, and its core theory is "semantic map connectivity hypothesis", which can help us explain grammaticalization in function words and syntax structure through cross linguistic comparison. The "fouze" conjunction group includes "fouze","buran","yaoburan","yaobu" and "ruobu". The previous four words have finished grammaticalization, but "ruobu" does not complete lexicalization. The paper tries to draw the semantic map of "fouze" conjunction group.Chapter one briefly introduces the significance and objectives of the research. Then, it reviews the related research from the perspective of "semantic map model" and "fouze" conjunction group, especially illustrates the "semantic map model" theory, the methods of how to draw the map, and the grammaticalization theory.Chapter two investigates the grammaticalization of "fouze" conjunction group through a large number of corpuses. It summarizes "negative hypothesis","advice","suggestion" and "xingwu" four semantic functions. Meanwhile, it maps the conceptual space of "fouze" conjunction group.Chapter three selects the appropriate function name from the four semantic functions on the basis of existing conjunction related semantic map. Then, we use English and Japanese corpus to testify the reliability of the function names. After the arrangement of the function location, the paper respectively draws different semantic maps of "fouze" conjunction group, which have testified and expanded.Chapter four concludes the implicational universals of "fouze" semantic map on the basis of the accomplished semantic maps. It also illustrates the motivation and mechanism of the grammaticalization, and predicates the development tendency of the "fouze" conjunction group grammaticalization.Chapter five summarizes the key points of drawing the map and the achievements. Finally, the paper points out the existing problems in the research process, and provide a view on the further related research.
