This paper puts the main images of the three found tomb murals of Dong LongTaoist temple in Fen Yang, Shan Xi, in Jin Dynasty as the object of study, and dividesthem into three categories according to the content--a couple sitting for feasting; awoman opens the door and the exchange of money.In the first part, it studies the pictures of a couple sitting for feasting in M2, M5and M6in the southern district of Dong Long Taoist temple, and contacts with theprevious archaeological material in the same period to analyze their deep meanings.The conclusion of the research is that--the pictures of a couple sitting for feastingreproduced the life before its host's death. Moreover, they are made necessarily toworship ancestors.The second part introduces the details of the five pictures--a woman opens thedoor in M2, M5and M6in the southern district of Dong Long Taoist temple, andcontacts with the previous similar decorative themes and historical documents toanalyze the implication of “A woman opens the door” reasonably. Besides, it alsoanalyzes the meaning of the image--the woman in pictures to some extent.The third part mainly describes the details of “the exchange of money” in M5inthe southern district of Dong Long Taoist temple. It also explores the reason of theimplementation of the monetary system in Jin Dynasty according to two same type oftomb murals around Dong Long Taoist temple and some survived historicaldocuments. These can also reproduce the scene of the prosperous trade at that time.
