The measure word is the main, but also a difficulty part in foreign languageteaching. Relative to the Indo-European language, the measure word is one of thesignificant features of the Sino-Tibetan language family; it has a lot of numbers andusing very highly. It is an important factor in our daily lives which exists to expressideas, feelings. But the measure word divided into different classes,which makes a lotof trouble when the students use it, specially, the noun classifiers. Since their numberis the most among the measure word, and the most frequently used category, at thesame time has a complex mix of relationship with the noun, Chinese learners oftenbias in the process of learning and use, so learn and use the noun classifiers become amajor problem. To this end, on the basis of previous research, the author combined inthe case of the current teaching in Confucius Institute of University Catholic of SantaMaria of Arequipa, Peru, selected local materials used, design questionnaires andanalyzed from the perspective of error, discuss and analyze one by one, and find outthe reason. Finally, give the appropriate teaching strategies; hope to help to teach inthe noun classifiers.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first is the Introduction. Systematically summarizes the purpose andsignificance of this topic, explain the background, and previous studies were reviewed,pointing out the present status of research about the noun classifiers.The second part is for the study design of the noun classifiers. Clarify the scopeof the study, the results of the survey, methodology and content of the study, andbased on the selection of materials, questionnaire design and survey analysis.The third is about the error of the noun classifiers analyze and draw the reasons.The forth is the teaching strategies and proposals.The fifth is to conclude the whole thesis.
