Artificial Intelligence has been widespread concerned in the society since itgenerated last mid-century. Recently years, The field of Artificial Intelligence is toobtain the considerable and rapid development. This paper is from the problem of“whether the machine is capable of thinking”, re-examining the artificial intelligencebackground, arranging and analyzing Searle’s theory of “intentionality”and“speechact theory”.The author in a variety of ways based on previous analysis,use of acomparative study of methods, systems analysis, document analysis and other researchmethods, made some personal views in this article. This article focuses on Searle’s“Chinese room”thought experiment to examine and study his thought experiment toexplore whether the structural support on logical argument, and prove the validity ofhis criticism on the point of view of strong AI, but will also Searle’s theory ofintentionality associated with this problem to sort out and explain their views.This paper is divided into four parts for Searle’s logical thinking for description.From the second chapter,I have introduced the background of the“Chinese room”experiment. As the“father of the computer”, Turing believed, computer program andthe brain is similar in structure, advocate“program is the soul”.Strong AI’s supporterssay, computer programs are not impassable barrier between the human soul. Searleraised strong objections to this view, and designed the“Chinese room”thoughtexperiment. In the third chapter, the author analyzed logically and the validity of theexperiment.The fourth chapter and the fifth chapter is the concept of Searle’s“intentionality”theory and the“speech act theory”clarification. In explaining theprocess, not only to clarify its specific contents of the speech act theory and the theoryof intentionality, but also try to use them to analyze different perspectives, and putforward my point of view clearly.
