Chinese learning in Thailand is presenting a rapid growth in recent years. And arapid expansion of “Chinese hot” phenomenon has formed. All of these indicated thatChinese learning will not be retreated. May2013, I was assigned to the SawangBoriboon Wittaya school in Thailand as a one-year Chinese volunteer teacher. Duringthis year, I not only felt the rapid development of Chinese teaching in Thailand, but Ialso felt the responsibility o f major. At the same time, more and more Chinese teachingproblems also start to be in my mind. Comprehensive course is the most important partof Chinese teaching, which is directly related to the effect of the whole teaching.Researches about Comprehensive course of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language arealmost in every aspect,however, less in Chinese comprehensive course of Thailand’s,almost none in Chinese comprehensive course of Thailand’s Chinese schools. Thewriter hopes to find the the problems of Chinese comprehensive course in SawangBoriboon Wittaya school according to the Chinese comprehensive course teaching ofthe school and the school itself,and then provide some targeted countermeasures.Theresearch can not only enrich and improve the Chinese teaching in the school, but alsocan enrich the research theory of Thailand’s Chinese Teaching,be a guide to otherThailand’s Chinese school. What’s more, this research would provide a newbreakthrough for the study of Thailand’s Chinese teaching in Thailand’s Chineseschools.The approaches used in this study include literature, class questionnaires, practicalobservations and interviews. Literature provides theoretical support for the paper.Othersprovides the data needed.According to the research results and the author’s one-year teaching experience,the author found the problems of Chinese comprehensive course in Sawang BoriboonWittaya school mainly in terms of teachers, equipments, teaching syllabus, curriculumarrangements,class teaching. Specifically in the lack of teachers, the lack of full use ofthe existing resources, the lack of teaching Syllabus. Further more, the curriculumarrangements are not proper, the teaching mode is old-fashioned, the textbook is nottargeted.Combine the author’teaching experience,the research on teachers,some studentsand feedback of some teachers,this paper provide countermeasures and suggestions to improve the Chinese comprehensive course teaching of Sawang Boriboon Wittayaschool.This article is composed of six parts. The first part is the prelude introducing thebackground,purpose,meaning,contents and methods of the research.The second part isthe literature review mainly introducing the research of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage in Thailand’Chinese school and the research of Chinese comprehensive courseteaching.The third part is the brief introduction of Sawang Boriboon Wittaya school andthe Chinese comprehensive course teaching of the school.The fourth part is theintroduction of the research method and the analysis of the results.The fifth part is thecountermeasures and suggestions to Sawang Boriboon Wittaya school’Chinesecomprehensive course teaching according to the researching and analysis results.Thesixth part is the conclusion,mainly review and summed up the front research and clarifythe limitations of this study.
