The study of Chinese language teaching in Thailand has become the key topic concerned by many researchers under the background of "Chinese fever".This thesis based on the study of related theory focuses on the present Chinese teaching situation in Witayanukulnaree School of Phetchabun Province in Thailandthrough questionnaire investigation and personal interview,aims to analyze the present situation of Chinese curriculum, Chinese teachers, learners and Chinese teaching materials in the school and put forward the corresponding countermeasures to solve the problems.The first chapter of this thesis expounds the history and current situation of Chinese teaching in Thailand, introduces the Witayanukulnaree school’s geographiclocation,development status, curriculum types, test methods and characteristics to make an analysis of the reasons, development and effects of the Chinese course designed in the school.The second chapter makes an analysis centered on Chinese course design,course evaluation,problems existed and strategies,putting forward that the school should increase the Chinese elective class, recruit more Chinese teachers; open the class-sized Chinese club to meet the needs of Chinese learners’ interests; add Chinese professional class and train comprehensive Chinese talents.The third chapter analyzes the Chinese teachers status, Chinese classroom teaching situation and existing problems in the school according to the questionnaires and interviews, proposing that the school should stabilize the teachers team through recruiting local teachers combined with independent recruitment;increase the number of school teachers to relief teachers’ teaching pressure; teachers should use various teaching methods, simplify teachers’ language and increase the proportion of students activities.The fourth chapter analyzes the basic situation, learning motivation,autonomy and continuity of Chinese learners in the school. To solve the existing problems, teachers should carry on multi-level teaching and periodical teaching integration; teachers should take motivation protection strategy, using the "Games" teaching method to attract the students’ attention; teachers should help learners buildself-confidence, to dilute the concept that Chinese is difficult to learn.The last chapter through the investigation of the teaching materials used in the school, making an analysis of the context of the teaching vocabulary, topic distribution and exercises,combined with problems putting forward that school should unify the Chinese textbooks to enhance the continuity and systematicness of the knowledge;school textbooks need to be localized to strengthen the interestingness of teaching materials.
