Alienated labor theory plays an important part in the philosophy and politicaleconomy of Marx. An extensive research on it has been conducted by scholars sinceits birth. This article taking Marx’s theory of alienated labor as the main object ofstudy and seeming concept of practical truth as a entry point, then sorted out theinterrelationships between the two factors.The first part illustrates the historical background, the theoretical connotation,the academic values and the existing problems of Marx’s theory of alienated labor,and mainly points out its controversial issue and existing defect.The second part combines the theory of alienated labor with the concept ofpractical truth, then further point out its logical ration core.The third part puts emphasis on discussing the interrelationship betweenMarx’s theory of alienated labor and the concept of practical truth, that is analysisthe rationality of Marx’s theory of alienated labor from the perspective of theconcept of practical truth.As the conclusion of the paper, the fourth part states that the rationality ofMarx’stheory of alienated labor and its gist caring for people would send the theory itself astrong vitality. Thus, it is necessary to return to Marx and review the Marx’s theoryof alienated labor.Marx’s theory of alienated labor is neither an outdated theory nor absolute andeternal truth. It is like a shining star to guide people toward the freedom andcomprehensive development.
