The dissertation comprehensively collects materials of Neolithic calm-device of ancient-Liaoxi region. By typology research, this attempts to explore the inner meaning.The full dissertation is divided into six parts:Chapter1:the basic materials and opinionsDefines the spatial and temporal scales of this paper, and combs the Neolithic calm-device found in the past and academic research.Chapter2:classification and morphologicalNeolithic calm-device of ancient-Liaoxi region can be divided into two classes: decoration and tool. Decoration includes hair ornaments, eardrop, arm-circle ornaments, cluster ornaments, embed ornaments and facial ornaments. Tool includes calm-sword, pottery-made tool, calm spinning wheel and V-type tool. Every class also can be separately divided into some types.Chapter3:stage and the chronological frameworkNeolithic calm-device of ancient-Liaoxi region can be divided into four developmental stages:l,the Xinglongwa Culture stage2,the Zhaobaogou Culture stage3,the Hongshan Culture stage4,the Xiaoheyan Culture stageChapter4:the nature and functionThe calm-device of the Xinglongwa Culture stage shows primitive religious worship, which be on basis of art aesthetics; The calm-device of the Zhaobaogou Culture stage stems from The calm-device of the Xinglongwa Culture stage, which attaches the prevalence of production tool and weakens its role that rely on the foundation of calm-device; Then, the calm-device of the Hongshan Culture stage shrink, especially ornaments, which tend to have nothing to do with primitice religious, and new calm-swords reflect better external influence; The calm-device of the Xiaoheyan Culture stage resembles The calm-device of the Xinglongwa Culture stage again, especially the number of ornaments, which in form of burial accessories. Calm-hairpin, pendant, arm-circle pearls ornaments and spinning wheel became a new culture relics. This culture society’s role is male and chief election is announced in it, whose class differentiation is not obvious, as the same time, ceremonies shift the ground to the underground.Facial ornaments of the Xinglongwa Culture is relevant to witchcraft, the Calm-armclock is used to modify arms, the waist-type calm-device is used to modify body. Most of calm-device of the Zhaobaogou Culture are pottery-made tool. Most of calm-device of the Zhaobaogou Culture are eardrop and calm-sword. Calm beam device of the Xinglongwa Culture sends decoration on the hair, the pendant modified neck or ear, Calm-embeded may be to protect the arms or associated with the identities of the chief. Calm spinning wheel may have no practical use, belong to gravecraft.Chapter5:The interactive relationshipCompared with other unearthed archaeological culture of calm, the author thinks that the Neolithic calm-device of ancient-Liaoxi region possesses with local characters initially. Then gradually increase the external factors, from Huangriver region or the eastern coastal area.etc. The number of decoration and tool is changing constantly. Maybe it is affected by environment, material and human.Chapter6:conclusionSummarizes the main points of this dissertation, and all discussion of every chapter.
