Medtner’s Fairy Tales Sonata Op.25No.1Analysis

Medtner was born in Germany between19th and20th century. And he was a russian composer and pianist.He contribute to music composition was the creation of "Fairy Tales" which a kind of lyric-ballade for piano. My subject have four chapters which research and analyse this composer and his "Fairy Tales Sonata" OP.25NO.1.The works of Medtner often had a meaningful literary sense as the result of benefiting by the classic and romantic music.The Russian classic and roamtic music concretize his compositions.Some basic details of this article are as follows.It begins with "The Background of music composition of Medtner."The second chapter is "The Genre Characters of Fairy Tales sonata."The final part describes"The specific analysis of Fairy Tales Sonata OP.25NO.1".It is the key point of my dissertation hat provides reference for players who could be expolred its underlying ploying style and performing teachniques by combined with the characteristics of creation of the Fairy Tales Sonata,the analysis of composition,and the experience of players own performance.Regarding the Fairy Tales as the research subject,we should try to define anew the reason why did Medtner gain little importance at that time,as well as evalnate objectively.
