Study Of Chinese And Korean Proverbs

Proverb is cohesion of elder group of people’s experienced life, fruit of kno wledge,include literature, philosophy, conduct of life and life moral. Also it has rich cultural connotation and a strong national style. It able to reflects the mode of thinking of a nationalit y and have a deeper understanding of language. Therefore through study of proverb, we can1earn nationalism and culture of different countries.Now, whole world are internationally exchange, especially between China and Korea had a thousands of interflow. Also interchange of linguistic is the most basic way to learn and know the culture of the country.Although there are long culture histories between China and Korea, but it’s still two different countries with different cultures. The way to get to know different countries and different cultures, it is necessary to have a comparison and contrast about China and Korea, two different countries’proverb.Part one:Introduce some research achievements of proverb between China and Korea. And the research purposes of this thesis.Part two:Introduce the definition and characteristic of China and Korea proverb.Part three:A comparison between China and Korea contents of proverbs, mainly about relationship, human body, animals, plants, and the necessities of life.Part four:A comparison between rhythm and rhetoric, mainly about how to use hyperbole, metaphorical method, antithesis and palilogy in proverb.Part five:A comparison of form and meaning, and the reason of two different countries have different meaning of proverbs.Last part of the thesis is conclusion, it summarize all the research in this part.
