In recent years, with the development of the comprehensive nationalstrength of our country, more and more foreigners pay attention to our culture, and evenstart to learn it. In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, culturalcourses obviously are the dispensable parts. Calligraphy class not only exerts greatinfluence on learning Chinese characters for foreigners, but on promoting calligraphyculture. It seems easy to teaching calligraphy class, but the class should meet therequirement of the textbooks. In consideration of the few researches of calligraphybooks for foreigners, in my papers I choose two calligraphy textbooks which arecomparatively high quality and authority for researching. From the view of internationalstudents, through researching the target, the arrangement, the content as well as theexercises, my paper provides certain references for those foreigners who are interestedin calligraphy. Meanwhile, I make conclusion and summary about the two textbooks,and provide some advices which might useful for the calligraphy editors.
