The education training market in China, still at its early stage, has entered a rapid development phase which features lack of sound regulations and referable experience. Aiming at Suzhou private non-academic training market of Chinese as a foreign language, this paper conducts an extensive survey on the status quo of Suzhou private non-academic education in terms of institutional structure, management and teaching through interviews, practice and survey. Based on Japan’s experience of international popularization of Japanese, this paper takes an example of Kyushu Institute of foreign languages and the Academic Center of Japanese Culture in Ishikawa Prefecture and expounds the management and teaching situations of the institutions in question. In accordance with the status quo in Suzhou, it further points out the gap in teacher training, national macro-policies and training level and proposes several feasible measures as follows:Firstly, establish a perfect normalized market system for Chinese as a foreign language training; secondly, establish and perfect the training system for TCSL (Teaching Chinese as a Second Language) teachers; thirdly, government and relevant administrative departments should further intensify supervision and support.Through comparison and contrast between the international popularization of Chinese and Japanese as a mother tongue, this paper carries out a feasibility analysis with a view to providing references for the management and practitioners of training institutions of Chinese as a second language and expanding ways of thinking for future global popularization of Chinese as a second language...
