In recent years,the research results of TCFL culture teaching materials are increasing day by day.Most of these researches focus on the overall arrangement of the teaching materials and the discussion of cultural content,while the research on exercises is less.It can be seen that the emphasis on exercises is low.Exercises affect the quality of textbook compilation.As far as the culture textbook of TCFL is concerned,exercises can integrate the content of cultural knowledge.Reasonable exercises can consolidate knowledge and improve the communicative skills of foreign students.Starting from the exercises of the textbooks,this paper selects three cultural Textbooks-"Chinese traditional culture and modern life II","general situation of China" and "Chinese culture"(Third Edition)as the research objects.Through the statistics and comparative analysis of the amount,type and content of the exercises of the three textbooks,it finds out the characteristics and shortcomings of the exercises.This paper is divided into six parts.The introduction introduces the reason of the topic selection,research significance,research review,research content,research methods and the innovation of this paper.Among them,the review part includes three aspects: the application of exercises in different types of TCFL textbooks,the review of TCFL Culture Textbooks and the research review of TCFL Culture Textbooks exercises.The first chapter introduces the related theories of the exercises in TCFL culture textbooks,and expounds the compiling principles and characteristics of the exercises in TCFL culture textbooks.The second chapter analyzes the setting of exercises in the three TCFL culture textbooks,and makes statistics and analysis from the aspects of the amount of exercises,the types of exercises and the contents of exercises,and analyzes their distribution.The third chapter,based on the statistical results of the exercises in the three cultural textbooks,compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the exercises in the three textbooks from the three aspects of the quantity,type and content of the exercises.Through the comparison,it elaborates the reference points and the problems in the quantity,type and content of the exercises.The fourth chapter puts forward suggestions on the results of the previous analysis and deficiencies,and puts forward specific suggestions on the amount,type and content of the exercises.In terms of the number of questions,the number of questions in each class should be relatively stable,and the distribution of subjective and objective questions should be balanced;In the aspect of question types,we should reasonably arrange the order of question types,effectively increase the diversity of question types,and appropriately add cross-cultural communication exercises;In terms of the content of the exercises,we should add the content of cultural experience and practice,increase the flexible exercises of cultural contrast,and give reasonable consideration to the proportion of language knowledge and cultural knowledge.The conclusion part briefly summarizes the research content and value of this paper.Through the comparison and analysis of the exercises of the three cultural textbooks,it hopes to provide some reference value for the compilation of the exercises of cultural textbooks in the future.
