Comparison Between Chinese And Korean Negative Adverb And The Analysis Of Error In Chinese Negative Adverb For Korean Students

Negative is a language category, which is very important in all languages. Negativeadverb of “不”“没（有）”“别” are the most widely used negative adverb in Chinese. Buttheir negative expressions are so complicated for foreigners to learn.In Korean,“(?)”“(?)”“(?)”are basic negative adverb. Their grammatical meaningsare clear. At the same time, there are special forms to mark different times in Korean.Compare to Chinese, the negative structure is easier in Korean. We find whatever levelKorean students are，they will make mistakes on negative adverb.Based on formal research, this paper explains the difference between Chinese andKorean negative words. Also we designed a questionnaire for Korean students. Totally96students from University of Ulsan participated in this test. After analyzing the states, we tryto find out important parts and difficult parts in Chinese negative adverb for Koreanstudents. We hope these states will help Chinese teachers in their teaching.This paper contains six parts. The first part introduces the purpose of the study, thesurvey of the study and the methods of investigation. The second part describes the usageof Chinese negative adverb “不”、“没（有）”、“别”. The third part describes the usage ofKorean negative words. The forth part introduces similarities and differences betweenChinese negative words and Korean negative words. The firth part analyses the statisticalfigures and the reason of errors, and also try to find out the way to resolve these errors.And the sixth part is a conclusion.
