Verb is the center of a sentence, and the use of verbs is also im portant and difficult for language learning. In the comparison study of Korean and Chinese, verbs and verb-related researches occupy a ver y important role. Adverbs modifying a verb is a natural attribute, ho wever, if the adverb limited to the region of "level", verbs and adve rbs of degree will show a very different kind of state. Based on this linguistic phenomenon, this paper summarized previous research achie vements, and then investigated the samenesses and differences between Korean and Chinese, hoping that it is helpful to those who are learn ing Korean and Chinese through this study.This text consists of five chapters:Chapter one is an introducti on, including the study purpose and meaning, the current situation of Korean and Chinese study and discussing direction, the degree of the of the contrast between the two languages so far and the research me thods and data selection; Chapter two discusses the Korean psychologi cal verbs, process verbs, action verbs in various categories combined with adverbs of degree; Chapter three mainly expounds the various co mbinations of Chinese psychological verbs, process verbs, modal verbs and action verbs and adverbs of degree; Chapter four is a more syste matic comparative analysis of combination of the Korean and Chinese verbs and adverbs of degree, a detailed discussion of the Korean and Chinese in the degree of adverbs and verbs'samenesses and differenc es of combined sample states on the basis of chapter two and three. B y cross-reference in both languages, this paper also acquires some pa rts which are ignored in respective fields, where the author put forw ard its own point of view; Chapter five is the conclusion of this the sis. According to the analysis of the four chapters above, this paper summarizes the Korean and Chinese'respective characteristics, and proposed problems that will be confronted in the process of related 1 anguage studying.
