Research On The Generation And Development And Sematics And Functional Remarkers Of The Structure Of "VShang_{Objective To Realize}+NP"

The Chinese directional verb is a distinctive category in Chinese vocabulary. Itattaches behind the verb and produces many kinds of meaning. The usable frequency of"Shang" is very high, especially when it means "Objective to realize".With the increasingof its frequent use, this significance becomes the research focus of linguists gradually.Although there are researches on the meanings of "VShang", but the study of"VShangObjective to realize" is not thorough. So it is worth us to study it more thoroughlyand systematically.This paper tries to adopt the method of combination of description and explanationand the method of combination of meaning and form. This paper also uses the theory ofcognitive linguistics, the theory of grammaticalization, and the theory of structuralism.This article studies the structure of "VShangObjective to realize+NP" and the relatedproblems from the two aspects of horizontal and vertical. There are four parts of thisarticle besides the introduction and conclusion:The first chapter, on the basis of the predecessors′researches, this paperinvestigates the evolution of semantic and syntactic functions. It describes and interpretsthe produce and development of the "Shang" and the goal-achieving "VShang". has beenproduced in pre-Qin, and in the Tang Five Dy nasties the meaning of tend1evolved outof the1to2and the meaning of realization, to Song and Yuan the meaning of tend1has developed to the meaning of realization, and in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,"VShang" appeared the state meaning. At that time, the meaning of "V" almost has thesame meaning of the modern Chinese.The second chapter, on the basis of diachronic study, this chapter focusing on theuse of language, analyzes the development path and the motivation and mechanism ofgrammaticalization of "VShangObjective to realize+NP".It analyzes the produce of thegoal-achieving through perceive prospect,and analyzes the mechanism ofgrammaticalization of "VShang",including subjective, metaphorical mapping, andreanalysis.The third chapter, on the basis of the previous research，this chapter studies the semantic and syntactic features of the structure, it focus on the semantic features of"Shang","V" and "NP", and analyzes the syntactic features of "VShangObjective to realize+NP".The last chapter gives further analysis to the perfective mark, presupposition markand focus mark of the structure of "VShangObjective to realize+NP".
