With the deepening of China’s economic system reform and the changing of industrial structure, thehigher vocational education research got great development in a certain extent. However, due to variousreasons, our country’s higher vocational education is still in the immature stage, basically in the imitation ofteaching mode, not out of the road of the characteristic of higher vocational education and didn’t give fullplay to the role of the application in the process of the talent training,which is increasingly prominent inthe high vocational art teaching. Especially in the current higher vocational fine arts teaching haven’t reallythought about employment oriented teaching mode, also did not give full consideration to the job marketfor higher vocational fine arts graduate practice ability and quality requirements. While the students thinkhigher vocational art learning at school not dispensable for future employment. Make it hard for highervocational fine arts teaching to reach the requirement, causing higher vocational fine arts graduatesemployment difficult.Nanyang higher vocational fine arts graduates also appeared such problems.The reasons for thisproblem is mainly in the aspect of art teaching.The school did not understand the real meaning of artteaching and chooses the teaching material not to students as the center.The teachers just teach, do notconsider the student’s acceptance, and their teaching idea is relatively backward.Students learn blindly.Dueto lack of teacher’s guide, it is difficult for the students to find the goal and have a correct concept ofemployment.Therefore, to explore and build employment oriented teaching mode and ensure smoothemployment of the higher vocational fine arts graduates become the urgent matter.This topic is mainly on the premise of employment as the guidance,investigated the present situationof four higher vocational fine arts teaching in nanyang mainly from the school, teacher, student threeaspects, found common problems existing in the four higher vocational art colleges and put forwardcorresponding countermeasures for these problems, make that can promote the development of highervocational fine arts teaching in a certain extent and improve the employment of higher vocational fine arts graduates in nanyang.
