| In the intermediate Chinese comprehensive course, text teaching plays a very importantrole. However, at the present stage, many Chinese teachers for foreigners has failed to attachenough importance to text teaching, which is very unfavorable for the development ofstudents’ discourse expression ability and language communicative competence. The purposeof this research is to enhance Chinese teachers for foreigners the recognition of thesignificance of text teaching, and propose an example of Chinese text teaching as a reference.In this thesis, documentary analysis method, observation method, experimental method,etc. are mainly used during the research, and the existing research achievements are used forreference, aiming to cultivate students’ communicative ability as well as to increase theirstrength of creating paragraphs by using complete sentences, based on relevant theories ofdiscourse. Besides, a plan of Chinese text teaching is put forward to highlight the purpose ofthe research. Given the characteristics of the text chosen from BoYa Chinese Intermediate PrintI---the text book used by teachers and students in International Culture Exchange College ofXin Jiang University, how to design Chinese text teaching is illustrated, giving emphasis onthe essential role of text teaching, the proper methods that could be used, according to themajor principles put forward in the thesis. Moreover, this research has explored how tocombine the text teaching with teaching of words and grammars by designing a practicalChinese lesson teaching plan as a demonstration of the specific steps and details of theclassroom teaching. |
