Research To The Portrait Photography Of Tibetan Subject

Tibetan are the people with special charm. Ever since the end of the19thcentury,many photographers have left us a lot of photos about the Tibetan, which include a lotof excellent portrait photography works. Through these images, we could observe theunique temperament and historical development for Tibetan. The portrait photographyregarding the Tibetan subject always reflects the social reality with local culturebackground. It displays the face of Tibetan as well as their life and living condition atdifferent historical period, which is an important part of China Nationality ImageRecord.Since the begin of21stcentury, the rapid development of economy,transportation improvement, development progress of Tibetan regional economyand the change of Tibetan living environment enable us to create the images fromthe perspective of photography different from the past. In addition, with the rapiddevelopment of digital photography technique and the network media technology, theimages regarding the Tibetan subject have appeared with overflow, scattered and lackof connotation. How to keep the continuous development in depth for portraitphotography of Tibetan subject is worth good and special thinking for everyphotographers engaging in Tibetan subject images.In this paper, the first chapter is a brief introduction to portrait photography. Thesecond chapter illustrates the value on Tibetan subject portrait photography. The thirdchapter will review its historical development. The fourth chapter will make a studyof the performance of language of the portrait photography for Tibetan subject. Thefifth chapter offers my own views and opinions regarding the continuous developmentof the portrait photography for Tibetan subject. I hope the research of this topic couldprovide certain reference value to the study on Tibet and Tibetan subject portraitphotography creation.
