Jia Zhangke is a controversial Chinese director, his films mostlysomber tone perception-based, aesthetic features with realism andprofound humanistic connotations. In this paper, from an aesthetic pointof view, combined with the film characteristics and tragic philosophizing, in the films of Jia Zhangke depth interpretation, while care of thehistorical process of China ’s tragic films, and the film ’s tragicsignificance for reflection and extension analysis. Paper is divided intofive parts, including introduction, conclusion, and this theory, the theoryis divided into three chapters: the first chapter in the mirror imagelanguage of the movie, audio language, space and characters to the point,systematic discussed how tragic Jia Zhangke’s films to show through thefilm language. The second chapter into the deep spiritual core of thefilms, explore and summarize the tragic implication of Jia Zhangke’sfilms, with the contradiction by the individual and his society whoseindividuals involved in the movie, the final orientation of the tragedy isbeyond the aesthetic sense. Chapter III is retrospective tragic film ofChina which influential, and Jia Zhangke ’s film-making to reflect on thetragic and outlook. The tragedy also enhance the integration of Chinesefilm art film art character, to promote film culture influence importantdimension, tragic study of Jia Zhangke’s films has a double meaningTelevision Arts and aesthetic value. Meanwhile, the tragic movie to someextent reflects the transformation of China’s social development andpeople’s mental attitudes, Should be caused wide public concern.
