Abstractness Characteristics With Wyeth’s Realistic Painting

This paper through creation processing and materials, composition,color respectively discusses the abstract painting language used in Andrew Wyeth’s artworks.In order to illuminates the abstract characteristics in Wyeth’s realism painting.From the first chapter,we will know that Wyeth pays more attention on the performance about his heart from his creative processing.He always make the memory things and the real things together,which makes his creative contains metaphor and symbolism in common sense.Combining with the German philosopher W.Worringer and other domestic scholars’research achievements of abstraction and empathy.further interpretation the empathy of the abstract impulse and abstract impulse of empathy during the processing of artists.The second chapter,mainly discussed the selection and application about the abstract painting materials in Wyeth’s artworks.Through the simple introduction the selected and used about the dry-brush watercolor,dry pen and tempera in Wyeth’s artworks.As the same time,through the analysis of the specific works,fully proved that the selection about materials in his work has lots connect with his experience and heart world. And the abstraction materials really at the service of the Wyeth’s artistic creation, who did the perfect unification of material and emotional.The third chapter,the writer from three aspects to discuss the abstraction of composition in Wyeth’s painting.First of all,introduction the singificant form about Wyeth’s painting,and in the second quarter analyzed how did Wyeth combined his realism and abstract expression,through inhibition of the three-dimensional space.At the last the writer briefly discussed the source of the incorporation geometric structure with Wyeth’s works.At the last chapter,Mainly discussed the color has the abstract metaphor meaning and sufficient used in Wyeth’s painting.And the second section through comparing the objective reappear and subjective performance of color,raises that the Wyeth has aunique understanding and comprehend about color,further proved that the abstract color used in his painting.
