Study On The Usage And Optimization Of New HSK Vocabulary Outline Based On CCTV News Corpus

The authority, timeliness, normalization, strong influence and brevity of CCTV News make it can help learners of Chinese language knowing China well, so there is a possibility for it to become a kind of materials of Chinese language teaching. This thesis establishes CCTV News corpus, compares CCTV News words with new HSK vocabulary outline and analyzes them through quantitative methods and qualitative methods. On the one hand, this thesis describes analyzes intersectional words on syllabic length and the level of words. On the other hand, this thesis analyzes complementary words according to the characteristic or property of words. This thesis makes some suggestions to teaching Chinese as a second language and new HSK vocabulary outline. This thesis is divided into five chapters.Chapter1:Introduction. This part talks about the main research question, introduces the topic selection basis, relevant research situation, theory and research methods.Chapter2:The Establishment of CCTV News Corpus. This part describes the collection and finishing process of CCTV News corpus, including corpus selection principle, sampling principle and methods and corpus processing word segmentation and tagging, artificial check, statistics and analysis, etc.Chapter3:The Analysis of Intersectional Words of CCTV News and New HSK Vocabulary Outline. This part describes the results of labeling the level of words of CCTV News according to new HSK vocabulary outline, and analyzes intersectional words of them.Chapter4:The Analysis of Complementary Words of CCTV News and New HSK Vocabulary Outline. This part analyzes complementary words according to the characteristic or property of words. Many complementary words have relevant words in new HSK vocabulary outline, some words needs to be added in teaching Chinese as a second language, and some have the possibility to be included into new HSK vocabulary outline.Chapter5:Conclusion. This part summarizes the suggestions to teaching Chinese as a second language and new HSK vocabulary outline and describes the shortcomings and prospects in this thesis.
